This is from the Peace Action Group, they are planning a rally in DC which I bet will be an Anti-Bush Rally, here is an e-mail from a NJ Group.
On Sunday, October 17, 2004 , IBEW and CWA supporters of the MWM will be sponsoring a bus to Washington , DC . We are also inviting community friends and workers from other industries to join us. No matter who wins the November elections, working people in this country must get organized to fight for our interests. The million worker march can be a big step forward in that process. Only by relying on ourselves, and not the Republican or Democratic politicians, can workers advance our own interests. No matter who wins, Bush or Kerry, workers will have to fight every step of the way to keep what we gained, and to get what we deserve. Join with other workers around the country and make our voices heard.
The rally begins at 11:00am at the Lincoln Memorial .
We are calling on all workers, black, brown, yellow or white, to get on the bus to DC. Help build the unity of the US working class. All out for the million worker march!
The bus or buses will leave from 900 Clinton Avenue , Irvington (park your car in the Verizon parking lot) at 7:00am sharp. Please be there by 6:30am . The cost is $40 per person. We need the money as soon as possible, so please call Ron Washington at 201-435-3362 to make a reservation and pay your bus fee.
Let telephone workers from NJ represent! All out for the Million Worker March!
GET ON THE BUS!

There will also be a bus from Exit 98 rest stop area on the Garden State Parkway - leaving at 6:30. Parking is in the south end of the rest area ( commuter parking). We believe the price is $30. Contact CarolGay747@aol.com for more information.
Beware any organization that has "worker" in the title or references "the workers" in its rhetoric.
I hope they are back home in time for 'work' on Monday.
astute observation......wish I would have made it!
Just how many people does it take to have one of these "Million" fill in the blank "Marches?"
Can I get a couple of friends together and have one? Must I invite others?
advertised as a "Million".......that means about 2000 actually
IFthere is money involved and each person must pay their own way ,there wont be many marchers.
Isn't that the point of them being in the union in the first place?
(Yes, but that was to milk their employers dry. This is milk the government dry.)
It is a communist front...as sure as I am typing these words.
