I thought cancer was not considered cured until 5 years after the original occurance. That's what my doc told me. And that you're at increased risk to develop the same or another form of cancer for up to 12 years.

They also have concluded he had a less than 3 percent chance of a recurrence in the next nine years. Yet more 'nuance'. That is not a description of a cure. Prostate cancer, like most cancers, has no cure. It only becomes increasingly unlikely to return, as time passes.

I'd like to know just what type of treatment he had. Chemo, surgery, radiation, or combination of any of the above.

Maybe his "doctor" confused "local control" with "possible cure".
Two years is too short.
His demand to give nukes to Iran suggests cranial metastases.

I think the voters should be informed of any medications he may be taking. Some of the drugs are powerful and can be mood altering.

It is highly unlikely that you are ever cured of prostate cancer. Kerry may have had his life extended a few years, but this insidious disease is just taking a rest.

It is my understanding that he had surgery only (radical prostatectomy)

I believe the doctors also said there is absolutely no chance of Kerry getting testicular cancer, since he has no balls.
