LOL! No, it's the begetting, and crowding, and polluting, and the unfettered consuming of natural resources, and the pursuing of happiness which is an outrage! Not that they have brown faces!

- and ordered the Border Patrol not to aprehend illegals inland because it offended illegal aliens.
- and has delegated residency documentation authority to Mexican diplomatic officers, allowing them to issue unlimited numbers of "Matricula" ID cards to illegals.

During this time of terrorist threats? An American President?? I hope some of the apologists can explain this.

We can start with the Stormfront crypto-Nazis and other white nationalists.

Do you realize that accusing everyone concerned about massive runaway immigration and the huge costs associated with it on the taxpayers -- not to mention loss of our sovreignty and all the rest of just being Nazis isn't at all helpful to the cause --- trying to get Bush elected so that Kerry isn't in the White House. It's actually a serious issue that anyone living in areas of high immigration can actually see --- and it really doesn't matter their ethnic heritage when they are faced with skyrocketing property taxes and high crime rates.

A poor quality candidate like Kerry shouldn't even be giving Bush a run for his money --- Bush is pretty much fine on most of the issues as far as Conservatives go --- he should be winning by a landslide but apparently that might not be the case. I can't tell by what I see first hand.

Can't wait until all those pesky open spaces are gone and we can finally share in the economic activity and progress enjoyed now by the lucky residents of Calcutta, Manila, and Mexico City.

Of course you are speaking from the position of someone who has actually bragged on here about hiring illegals yourself. Anyone who hires illegals is after a quick dime for themselves and to hell with the taxpayers who have to pay for all the needed services. It's all about money and fast profits for a few.

People going against voting for Bush on this one issue is retarded though.

Yep, it's a huge issue, but putting Kerry in would not make it better.

Voting a lame vote like libertarian would enable Democrats.

Nope, that bill of goods needs to be sold at DU this election, not here.

Why do we wait until after another election is over? Shouldn't a candidate put his agenda and platform up front, before any election?

Yes they are, but that's not the way it works in the real world.

If there's a squabble about immigration before the election Kerry may get enough votes to win, and then he'd make things worse. The Dems would love to get more Mexicans here to put on the welfare roles, and vote Democratic. Kerry would most likely open the border up more than it is now.

We all know Bush's position on immigration. He has a "thing" going with Mexico's President Fox, and the best way to stop immigration is after the election. Kerry would only make things worse.

I know. But when certain types --- including those who we know actually have lined their own pockets by breaking laws to hire illegals come along and start their taunts, it doesn't help get Bush elected. There needs to be some serious discussion about the effects of voting third party or not -- and some honesty about if this will be a close election or the predicted landslide for Bush. In a landslide for Bush it's one thing to vote for the third party guy -- but if it's closer than we're being told --- then it might be something to reconsider.

No, it's not because they have "brown faces"! It's the fact that so many of these people with "brown faces" are in the United States illegally!

No, Joe. That would entail honesty, integrity and courage. The 3 things missing in today's republican leadership. Their mantra is "we will fix it AFTER the election". AFTER you vote us in AGAIN. All their credibility is gone. Like you said--Things have to change NOW.

You know darned well that you have knowingly hired illegals --- I don't remember the thread but I did read it --- it's one of those things one obviously tucks away in their mind --- there are others too -- and once you know someone gains financially from breaking the law, you know where they're coming from.

To FReepers like bayourod, speaking out against illegal immigration has everything to do with race and nothing to do with the law.

Not sure what you are implying here, but perhaps the reason it appears there is no landslide, which indeed there should be is the fact that the dems have been waging a full court press attack on this man for the past 3+ years accusing him of everything evil known to man without much chance for rebuttal.

When you employ illegals, you're thinking more about what's going to get you quick profits and you aren't likely to mind at all that Socialized medicine is just around the corner --- just so you don't have to pay decent wages or offer insurance group plans.

"--- I don't remember the thread but I did read it "

No you didn't. I'm still waiting for the link.

The anti-Bush thirds party Buchanan/Tancredo are getting as desperate as the Kerry/Hollywood?Old Media crowd and will not hesitate to lie and deceive to defeat President Bush.

This exchange with Sabertooth makes a good starting point.

I could add a few others, but what's the use? Anything that privatizes profits and socializes costs is good.

I'm implying that this is the one big issue that divides Conservatives and Republicans --- someone obviously benefits by massive levels of immigration but the average Conservative isn't benefitting by it. I don't know if it's a landslide for Bush or a close election --- I've read both predictions. If it's close --- with a guy like Kerry (loser)--- I think some things were done wrong.
