"SOme people may say big deal..."
Honest to God, I don't see how...this is so blatant to me...unbelievable.
Wait till you view the video, it will make you laugh.
umm. new here. how do you "ping"
Kerry's movements are not consistent with merely pulling out a pen.
You have to click on the play button.
The President doesn't reach into his pocket at all.
Wow, this is more evidence of their treachery!!
Bingo!!!
Personal list
BTTT
SEE?
Now you all know why I stress that we all should TAPE these things whenever possible. I'll have to review my video after work today.
He never put on glasses.
Exactly. Bush's team needs to get him off the campaign on Thursday and Friday. No more appearances on the day of the debate.
And take him through the issues, not stuff his head full of talking points.
What video are you watching?
Liar...
Well welcome.
A ping is used to alert others (who have asked you to) that something is here that is of interest to them.
There are several people who hjave asked me to put them on my ping list for articles that they would have an interest in.
John Kerry brought prohibited material into last Thursday's Presidential Debate. From section 5, pages 4-5 of the binding "Memorandum of Understanding" (pdf file) that was negotiated and agreed upon by both political campaigns:
(c) No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.
...
(d) Notwithstanding subparagraph 5(c), the candidates may take notes during the debate on the size, color and type of paper each side prefers. Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium, table or other structure to be used by the candidate in that debate.
(Emphasis mine)
There are two videos, one at the CSPAN site and one at the Washington Post, that both show Kerry (from different angles) pulling something out of his pocket and putting it on the lectern.
My interpretation of W"s facial expressions were that they were expressions of disgust. Which mirrowed my own, because of all the lies sKerry was spouting.
Go back and review the transcripts of the debate, and you'll see that in a number of cases both candidates provided answers that didn't seem to match the questions they were asked. They prepared canned answers to questions based on what they thought the questions would be, and didn't really care very much if the answer didn't address the key point raised in the question.
The same one I watched.
All this conspiracy nonsense about Lehrer feeding Kerry the questions in advance and Kerry having some kind of unfair advantage is just nuts. To post it makes us look like a bunch of kooks.
Our guy got whipped. Let's hope he learned a lesson.
