Thanks for the insight. It seemed obvious to me right away that this was a ploy. I am not surprised that the 'professional cynics' in our national media played this with a straight face.
Their days are numbered. Forums like this will bring them to their knees.

Why not do a town Blog? Have 20 of the 900 contribute. Print the thing for those with no net skills. Have local adds on the thing. To hell with the local paper. Let them have new media!!!
