I've decided to keep my expectations low for the Senate and hope to be happily surprised if we pick up more than 1 or 2 seats. For such a target rich environment, the Republicans don't seem to have much going on. I am not optimistic about ousting Boxer here in California.

The best we can hope for is a divided government. They have more checks against run away government spending than total control by one party or the other.
