If someone can go to the Town Hall debate, and hand out a copy of Form-180 to every single one of the "independants", then I'm sure one of them will ask Kerry the question.

The next debate will be townhall format. Jim Lehrer didn't ask John Kerry how can he be a better commander-in-chief based upon his two decades in the U.S. senate. I hope the next moderator or anyone in the audience will ask him this question.

John Kerry has voted against most military pay raises, voted against new housing for our troops and their families, and as far back as 1994 Kerry voted to practically "gut" defense and spending for intelligence. Kerry voted against the B-1 bomber, the B-2 Stealth Bomber, the F-14, the F-15, the F-16, the AV-8B Harrier VTOL, the AH-64 Apache Helicopter, the Patriot Missle, the Aegis Air Defense Cruiser, the Trident Missle Systems for U.S. Submarines, the M-1 Abram Tank, the Bradley Fighting Vehicles and the Tomahawk Cruise Missle.

He just said in the debate that if he is elected to be the next commander-in-chief, he will stop the development of the bunker buster nuclear tip missle.

This situation started as no different than Bill Clinton's refusal to reveal his medical records. Damage was done simply by his not fully disclosing them as per customary presidential politics. We all surmise the reasoning is he had something to hide. Speculations abound from past drug use to venereal diseases.

Kerry's team has escalated the predicament further and inflicted more damage to his position because he's lied about it. His campaign and Kerry himself has repeatedly claimed they have released his military records.

Kerry knows this is a lie and the public knows it’s a lie.

Its best to keep this issue open rather than Kerry actually signing form 180. Remember, the cover-up is more damaging than the crime. Whatever is in his record could potentially garner sympathetic acceptance as a youthful indiscretion.

We don’t want that!

It's totally inappropriate for Bush to do so. If you don't know or realize that or why then you need to retake "Politics 101"

Re: refudiate.

Thank you for your excellent submission.

However, we are not accepting entries at this time.

We feel that the President does a fine job of inventing his own malapropisms and the assistance of others is not currently needed.

Do not be discouraged by the fact that your entry was not accepted.

Your submission does have that double-entendre W authenticity in much the same way that "misunderestimated" does.

Please feel free to give us a call at the email address listed below.

Sincerely,

Probably because the president:

(a) was ahead in the polls, and therefore planned a more conservative approach (let's hope he doesn't lose the game like a football team using a "Prevent" defense when ahead),

(b) wanted to project a more likeable image, not looking argumentative or mean-spirited, while expressing (and hammering home) a simple message, and

(c) is an honourable man and didn't want to violate the rules of the debate, which didn't allow the candidates to question each other or to solicit a pledge of any kind, etc.

Personally, I agree with you, though, and wish he had made a few more of those comments...hitting the lack of a Senate record, etc.

I don't know ...

A PERFET opportunity.

On the character question Bush could have said, his service from what I know is honorable but others have questions so, John why not sign form 180 and clear up any doubts.

Did you know props weren't allowed by the rules agreed to by both sides?
