True. Right now they are trying to project the Bush reaction as negative.

Give it a few days and it will be about Kerry's condescending smile & attitude and not Bush's smirk.

Then Gore's lies were exposed after the debate.

That really was the key, along with Algore's bizarre personal behavior.

F'n wasn't rude like Algore, but maybe we can focus enough attention on his gaffes and lies over the next few days to win back some of those "soft" Bush supporters who may have been impressed by Kerry's technical performance last night.

There sure were a lot of newbies and sleepers last night, weren't there? Every time someone posted a doom and gloom post, I didn't recognize them.

I tried to check the home page of the doom & gloom posters last night. My thought was that maybe DU was at work. But the servers were so slow last night by the time a page loaded another 200 posts were up.

Finally gave FR up, listened to the debate. Decided (before the pundits coined it) Kerry won "style" & Bush won substance. This isn't a high school debate competition. This is real life. Style means nothing.

I was struck by negative tone taken by kerry. We know nothing President Bush has done has the approval of kerry, but we still do not know what he would do differently.

The only thing I can figure is he will talk to our allies, talk to our enemies and cut our nuclear program.

Oh, most certainly not; with an exception of a few newbies, the ones driving the panic last night were the usual suspects. They've been doing it for years, literally; we call them "The Unappeasables."

Heck, I love new people; we need all the help we can get; new blood brings fresh ideas and ways to look at the situation. (I just wish they'd read the posting guidelines.....LOL)

You know I think this was a rope a dope by Bush. I read an article by a guy that was in his MBA program at Yale. He said Bush was by far the BEST poker he had ever seen. He said, Bush would constantly make you bet big on your losing hand. He would win over and over.

I think just like what happened in the second debate with Gore, Bush completely killed him. Every newspaper had to admit that Bush came out of nowhere, and trounced Gore. This is what he is doing here. He has consistantly done this and if he has practiced the last 6 months and how self disciplined he is in every other place in his life, he would have the ability and self discipline to rope a dope Kerry.

Yep...people of little faith. We went through this in the last debates...and I'm so glad ambrose re posted this thread...I've always believed in Bush and nothin' will change that one little bit. He'll win by a landslide...

The threads last night were discussing. Dog Gone told me before the debates...they always say Bush lost...and he always ends up winning them all. He is right. God Bless President Bush!!!

I will say THIS: I'm gonna need a prescription soon to augment the bourbon. The October surprise season is upon us.

We freeper know what all might be sprung - both sides - and that's another reason why the search function needs to be improved this weekend with the shutdown. Please, Jim, please.
