I'm 'whoring for attention' because I gored one of your sacred cows? If I started a vanity thread in praise of South Park would you have chimed in with an 'Amen', or would you have still accused me of 'whoring for attention'?

"Do you remember the sitcom, 'That's My Bush'? How was the Bush family portrayed? Dubya was portrayed as an idiot and the twins were homosexuals involved in incest. How did Stone and Parker take on the Clinton gang? With similar subtlety, no doubt. Right."
Ok, maybe you aren't trolling and you really are this dense.
I don't know how many times you've been told the truth behind 'thats my bush', but you still don't get it.
They never portrayed the twins as incestuous lesbians. That was during an interview when they were discussing ideas that came up for the show.
And the same damn thing would have been done to gore had he won. He was going to have a gore robot in the whitehouse that people got confused for the real gore.
The show was supposed to be a parody of bad sitcoms set in the white house, and the subject would have been whoever won the election.
But again, that's about the 500th time you've been told that, and you still repeat the same out tired lies.

BTW, they were quite pro-life, both in that show and South Park.
And when they showed Christopher Reeve consuming aborted babies like the center of a canoli... oh wait, that's not so pro-life... :-P

Gee I was just thinking to myself: it's been a while since that pathetic moron OC showed how incredibly ignorant he is by insulting everyone on FR that has more open tastes than him, sure hope the crotchety hackass hasn't died or anything.
Glad to see you're still alive. Now go rent a clue, this movie is making fun of the anti-war people.

was that sarcasm?
They were making fun of the fetal stem cell crowd with that one - by having christopher reeve go through fetus after fetus to get his 'superhuman' strength.

I think Old Cracker is actually Trey Parker.

I am a South Park fan, brought to it by my teen-age sons. Watching it together was an act of bonding (i.e., middle-aged mother realizes that she really has the sense of humor of a 13-year-old boy!). For my birthday one year, my oldest son (the only one old enough to get in) took me to see the South Park movie. Even my right-of-right husband doesn't understand them--I love South Park, have all the DVD's, and think that Stone and Parker are musical as well as comic/animation geniuses. (Ok, I do watch alot of tv, and DID watch alot of cartoons in the 60's, particularly Flintstones, etc.) They should have won the Oscar, but for the Overature song, not Blame Canada. This movie is brilliant.
And, if my sons bring me grandsons named "Stone" and "Parker", I'll understand why--they are trying to pass on genius into the next generation.

You are off base here...big time.If anything this movie is a leftist's nightmare.
To: O.C. - Old Cracker
I actually think this will help us. I think Stone and Parker are nonconformists. They think that Moore is full of crap. They seem to be political libertarians-- that could work for us or against us.

If I remember correctly (it's been known to happen) when they gave their speech at the Sundance Flim-Flam Festival they used the occasion to mock all liberals including the ones in attendance.

I'm new and I don't see a sarcasm tag, so if I'm wrong in thinking you're serious, I apologize in advance. But what better metaphor for the use of fetal stem cells than eating dead babies? It's a modern "Modest Proposal."

Blame Canada was a truly inspiring national anthem.

Erik Cartman is no liberal, only liberal on South Park is the gay teacher with mister hand. The mayor is a female John Kerry, guess that makes her one also.Funny show I love it.

Every time South Park is mentioned, OC comes ranting and frothing out of his cave. Ignore him, it happens a lot. This time, he even posted the article, just to start a flamewar.
