You are a cultural conservative, NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT.

However, conservatives come in all flavors.

Social conservatives.

Fiscal conservatives.

Libertarian conservatives.

And any mix of all four.

Don't declare war on different flavors of the same team.

I just said you can call yourself whatever you want. And, you can entertain yourself with whatever suits your tastes.

Let me add that John McCain would agree with you 100%.

John McCain is right occasionally.

As are John Forbes Kerry and William Jefferson Clinton, but an accuracy expressed in fractions is not something I'd want to hang my future on.

Fine. You hate the cultural message you feel is conveyed by the South Park approach. Others of us find it hysterical.

It's not that big of deal. I find mushrooms repulsive. My wife loves them. I don't eat them and she does.

It's never been something we fought about, and it doesn't mean that we're not in sync on most things.

I'm not quite sure why you have this obsession to keep making a big deal out of South Park.

Sorta like you trolling on South Park threads making an ass of yourself?

See, a big difference here is that while Michael Moore was directing a dagger into the heart of decent documentries, TA is simply a joke fest that even mocks the famed mountain of fat that directed F:9/11.

They usually have a story or a moral in the middle of their lambasting of decent society.

A problem with your connection is that Michael Moore simply hates all of America. The SP boys make it a point to be philosopizing cartoonists. They saterize our society to get you thinking.

I am going to assume that is where you draw the line though. Why think or try anything new when what you have works? Answer: it may work for you, but not for me. Allow me the option to choose instead of censoring anything YOU feel is wrong.

Freedom is about the ability for us to make our own choices. Taking away or wishing to take away choices is a matter left best to liberals. And I know you dont want to be one of those.... do you?

Apparently you never watched the show, because the above was never in the show.

One of my favorites is the one where Barbra Striesand turns into a giant monster and goes Godzilla on everything. :P

I can't believe you try to draw a comparison between tastes in food and moral differences. Alright, let's try this again. You dislike mushrooms and your wife enjoys them. What if your wife started to show an interest in watching snuff films? Or decided she wanted to hang a print of Serrano's 'Piss Christ' in your den? Where do you draw the line? Is there such a thing as morality? And if there is, who decides where the lines should be placed? You? Me? If it's not either of us, then who? Does each individual get to decide for themselves?

When the lines are blurred or erased, what happens to order in society? What happens when shame is no longer attached to any wrong doing? At that point, how could anyone attack John Kerry's character and say that his pattern of lies disqualify him from holding the highest office in the land?

It's like listening to a liberal whine whenever anyone disagrees with their position. They claim that by calling them unpatriotic I am trying silence or censor their speech. How does this Old Cracker's opinion threaten your First Amendment right to speak your mind? How?

Eh...you're just upset that we don't live in some sort of moral police state. You cannot stand that capitalism allows people to see what they want, listen to wehat they want, or read what they like, no matter how offensive it is to your Victorian sensibilities.

Why do you have a problem letting the marketplace be? If people like South Park, they'll watch it. If they are offended or dislike it, they won't. If enough do not like it, it'll go away. The last thing needed in this country is the moral police deciding what is "safe" for anyone to watch.
