I can't believe you try to draw a comparison between tastes in food and moral differences. Alright, let's try this again. You dislike mushrooms and your wife enjoys them. What if your wife started to show an interest in watching snuff films? Or decided she wanted to hang a print of Serrano's 'Piss Christ' in your den? Where do you draw the line? Is there such a thing as morality? And if there is, who decides where the lines should be placed? You? Me? If it's not either of us, then who? Does each individual get to decide for themselves?

When the lines are blurred or erased, what happens to order in society? What happens when shame is no longer attached to any wrong doing? At that point, how could anyone attack John Kerry's character and say that his pattern of lies disqualify him from holding the highest office in the land?

Each individual does at least up to the point where it infringes on another's rights. It seems as if YOU want to define where the moral line should be drawn. I'm sorry, but you haven't demonstrated here that you are worthy of doing that for the rest of us.

You are entitled to draw the line for yourself. I am entitled to draw it for me.

My enjoyment of irreverant entertainment is a a threat to no one including you, and the fact that you find such entertainment distasteful doesn't make it so. It certainly doesn't make me immoral.
