This may explain Bush's "lackluster" performance last night....As with most of this campaign, why butt-in when your opponent is in the process of destroying himself?

If you don't do as well as you'd like in the debate, Rove will use the clips of Kerry, re: global test and other absurdities.
HH now playing K: how can you get others to disarm if we have nukes?
See what I mean about absurdities?

GW seemed tired last night, and no wonder. Imagine being President 24/7, campaigning, and going up against a very skilled debater who got the questions early!

You know, I was somewhat distressed after the debate, but then upon reflection, as you have indicated, Kerry sure gave the GOP and the USA a lot to think about in terms of what he would do as President between now and November 2nd.
Sometimes it's better to listen and let the other guy hang himself.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.

I agree with that somewhat .. but I just think the President hates the formal stand up speechy thingy .. he's not an orator, he's a one-on-one communicator, because he sees value in every life.
Kerry is not a one-on-one communicator because he already thinks he's better than you.
I just sent the DNC an email and told them I loved the video of Bush facial expressions .. now the DNC knows how the public feels when it has to view (I named a variety of dem people) spewing the DNC talking points ad nauseum.
Think I'll get a thank you note ..??

President Bush was set up by the moderator.
Considering what he had to work with he did good.

Sean Hannity had a caller from Florida today who met President Bush yesterday while he was visiting one of the hurricane ravaged areas. He said that when the President left, he seemed to be upset over the plight of the people and their losses. He wondered how the President would then prepare for last night's debate!
