Mort told Hugh that Charles said he was sitting at home with his wife just "dying" over Bush's performance.

Hugh said "But did he think Kerry *won*?" and Kondracke says yes and how smart Charles is. Hugh agrees CK is smart but says he does not agree that Kerry won since his statements are indefensible and do not reflect the best intersts of America.

That is exactly how I formulate how I arrive at winners and losers in a debate. I actually add the substance of what they said to my calculations.
