"I think conservatives ought to quit trying to intimidate the rest of the media," said Eleanor Clift I think the MSM should quit campaigning for Kerry and stop painting their news coverage with liberal spin and talking points...

Yep, Annie's an arm of the 'chair'...and Barney Franks' sister. And she gives me the creeps.

Conservatives have been pushed around by the media for two generations. They are finally learning to push back.

And you should never slap the hand of a pickpocket, or hit a bully back, or point out lies (even if you are in a court of law and the lies will put you in jail while the real criminal goes free), or...or...

"I think conservatives ought to quit trying to intimidate the rest of the media," said Eleanor Clift, a contributing editor to Newsweek, in an interview with CNSNews.com following Thursday night's presidential debate at the University of Miami. Annoying and "intimidating" the media is a very useful way to subvert the dominant liberal paradigm that infects much of journalism. The conservative heckling of CBS has served a very useful function in making the media work much harder to stick to accuracy and to earn viewers and readers from the American public. Competition is good for the media.
As an alum of The McLaughlin Group, Eleanor should know that.

Eleanor CliftI can think of no one whose opinion I am less interested in. Why she has the moniker of "journalist" and not "shill" is beyond me.

Clift is a "partisan operative" so what she says doesn't count. (Just using Rather logic here)

Oh good grief. This is Eleanor Clift's Hillary moment. Lazio must have stood by her desk.
Grow up, Eleanor.

Can't figure out why our readership declines year after year...stupid little customers, don't even know what's good for them...arrogant? Us?

What Eleanor Cliff meant was:
"I think conservatives ought to quit trying to intimidate the rest of the "LIBERAL" media,"
This is so typically liberal.
Overlooked is the fact that the memos were frauds, and the American public were done a service by the outting of a plot to discredit their president.
Would she howl as loudly if Rather were a Conservative?

They probably mean we intimidate them by watching FOX News, thus causing the MSM ratings to be unfairly low.

Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe also defended CBS News. "I don't think CBS has comprised anything," McAuliffe said.Astonishing.
