My goodness! To think that these hispanics are not natural born Republicans. Here they are criticizing Bush for not enough welfare. These are your natural born conservatives. LOL

Are they legal? Can they vote?
Esteban Flores, head of the Latino Research and Policy Center which tracks Hispanic trends, said Salazar's race for the U.S. Senate has also energized Hispanics, prompting them to get out and register.
Julie DeWoody, spokeswoman for the state Democratic Party, said Salazar's campaign has been a big boost, especially for Democrats.
"Republicans are trying to appeal to Hispanic voters, but that does not hold up when Hispanic voters look at their policies," she said.
I thought hispanics loved the republicans. It turns out this is not true. People who are used to getting handouts will always vote democrat.

No gratitude for that is expressed by the Hispanic "rights" industry. Many (most?) of the homes are FHA/HUD backed.
It seems to me that ILLEGALs could get spooked as the public outcry against ILLEGAL aliens grows more intense and louder -- despite all the efforts of both the Rats and the Republicans to censor public opinion and discourse.
Ms Malkin wrote, "The Denver metro area alone accounted for 20,000 to 40,000 of the FHA-approved loans for suspected illegal aliens. 'Even if a small percentage of the loans were foreclosed, HUD could be bankrupted,' the homeland security official said."
That's just Denver aparently. The feds would sooner send hundreds of thousands of citizens to re-education camps rather than take a chance on destroying the housing market. I bet.

Big deal. People who can trace their lineage specifically to Great Britain have probably never been a majority in Denver.
Unless the writer was mistakenly referring to 'whites' as 'anglos'.
A bi-lingual bump. . .
And how many of them are legal? Not the majority.
.
The "more conservative" Senate primary candidate tried Hispandering on his website and campaign literature and failed to get any traction. The eventual nominee, Pete Coors, stuck to ENGLISH language and sought American votes. That's who turned out to vote for him on election day.
Future Republican candidates would be advised to take notice.
New standard media speak for illegals. As in, they "moved to " the U.S., convientently neglecting the "apply for admission" part.
The proper response to all of these handy phrases;
Out of my way please, I am taking my family to Canada. Iceland? The Lofoten Islands? Anywhere the enchilada is unknown.
What?!? She's not only got the "gimmies" but the "gimme mine, and yours, and everybody's". Oh, oh, or maybe she's legal and has a right to whine.
..."She said Hispanics have been hurt by Bush's policies on education, which failed to provide resources, and health care policies which have denied access to many Hispanics"...
Hey Julie...
You're poor people that don't have health care?....THEY DON'T HAVE A JOB. It's not because they are Hispanic. TONTO!
GET A JOB.
HEALTHCARE FOLLOWS.
Oh, yeah...go to school, get good grades, get a scholarship. It's the same for everyone honey, you ain't special cuz you're brown. I'm still paying off my student LOAN.
WORK OR DIE. How hard is that to understand? TONTO!
There I go again. Read 4 or 5 articles. Get all pissed off. Post to one, and vent....without reading the previous replies.
From Atlanta to Alaska, it's the same thing, and growing worse.
We are now told the equivalent of 3 *major* cities of illegal aliens EVERY YEAR are pouring into our country.
Unbelievable.
And not a word of this epic invasion between the two beltway parties during the debates, or the conventions.
Friends tell me that it started about '92 with the first wave of LA refugees after the big defense downsizing. A lot of them brought their 'employees' with them; seems the addiction is just too compelling. I suspect some of their neighbors from LA who moved thinking they might get relief were not too happy to see the same gang.
I would like to report that I've had enough (where have I heard that before?). My last vestige of ownership in the skiing world is a timeshare in Utah. When I stayed there I was appalled to see not just illegals working there, but H1-B's for god's sake -- like ski areas have a hard time attracting kids to work there!
So I had my lawyer write the SOB's a letter: it says, I ain't paying the goddamn maintenance fees until you guys stop violating the law. And I called BICE on them (didn't do any good). I may be tilting at windmills, but it feels good...and the ball's in their court, 'cuz they know they be doin' wrong.
