The South Park Republicans are coming out with the funniest movie of the year. They skewer all the liberal titans, M. Moore, Kerry, Sean Penn.....They are strong supporters of the War on Terror. Check out the interviews and previews on the site.

be careful, old cracker will be along to tell you south park fans are a bunch of scum who are sending america to hell in a handbasket. or something.

They hated Saddam on Southpark and he is captured now. I hear that Kim Jon Il is the baddie in this puppet movie.

I wouldn't count on it being too republican until you see it. While they definately take aim on the Dem's, they will most likely hit us as well.
That said, I still love Southpark and am sure I will like the movie.

Watch the preview and the clip where the directors talk about deciding to use the Dear Leader as the bad guy....they also skewer M. Albright's trip to North Korea in their interview.
Great scene, Kim Il Crazy is shouting at a captured Team America woman and says, "inevitable...INEVITABLE..." She says, "I'm sorry", Kim Il Crazy shrieks again, "Inevitable!" she blinks and says, "One more time please."

You have to give one thing to Matt Parker and Trey Stone: they nuke everyone equally.

Of course Bush et al will get some hits, but in the interviews the writer and director both said, "When you're the most powerful country on earth, you have to take care of biz...." they also talked about the essential goodness of America.

i hear a lot about political correctness on freep. matt and trey were waging war on pc before it was... you know... pc.

Good point. To be honest, any hollywood movie with ANY anti-left humor strikes me as conservative. I have always liked SP because they are so even handed and, ultimately, are (as your quote says) ultimately pro-American..

I just did some searching and according to posts on other boards, one of the guys is a Republican and the other a Libertarian (I forgot to note which was which). It is nice to find some right wing entertainment (for those of us more socially ... umm... accepting) that doesn't involve "twang"...

I wouldn't count on it being too republican until you see it. While they definately take aim on the Dem's, they will most likely hit us as well. That is probably true, but remember we welcome honest debate. The LIBERAL FUNDAMENTALISTS hate it so much that they label any contrary position as 'hate speech' or 'intolerance.'

While they definately take aim on the Dem's, they will most likely hit us as well. Even if they hit both sides equally it's a net win for us - the Left isn't used to any criticism from popular culture, and will no doubt react in their usual whiny "how dare you!" fashion.

I can't wait to see this movie.
Didn't they have some insane budget for this flick?
A big budget puppet movie! It's gotta rock.

Don't get me wrong. I love South Park, and I believe this film will be hillarious, but I seriously doubt you can call it "pro republican". Yes, they will surely dog liberals, but I am sure they will take a few stabs at Bush. That's just their way.
