I'm completely mystified with some of the posts on these debate threads. People are scoring this as if it were a college debate on some arcane topic.

The purpose of this debate is ultimately to show which candidate has the policies, character, temperament, and who is more presidential. Bush won on all counts. Now, he missed many opportunities to nail Kerry big time, and so that technically is a minus debate point, but folks, look at the big picture here.

Kerry was not the Cicero debater I had expected, he never landed a solid hit on Bush. To top it off, he gave the RNC the "global test" phrase they needed to finish him off among Reagan democrats. Its over.

Alot of people on here get emotional even myself because we are afraid of the doofus getting in. You are completely right because after the dust settles and Rush, Hannity, and the G-man plus FoxNews get a hold of these red meat policy issues the crap will hit the fan. It will have the effect sort of like a explosive armor piercing shell with a delay charge which penetrates into a target and just sits there. Then you one big racking explosion which totally destroys the target and makes it FUBAR.
