In any case Bush has called Kerry on the most important lies. Bush is doing great.

Unfortunately, we'll see tomorrow that the "Bush is doing great" point is a non-starter. He's on the defensive and Kerry's picking up steam.

We just need to hope that JFK gets overly confident for Round Two, and that Dubya pops him with a series of oxygen-sucking body blows....

Sadly, ain't happenin' tonight....

Kerry just seemed to say that if we set an example for the terrorists, they will stop trying to form nuclear weapons.

Too many people think the American electorate are stupid - they aren't.
He's looking at us in the camera, Kerry is talking to Jim.
Kerry is a Globalist, and Bush hammered him on it.

Bush couldn't do worse if he had planned to do worse.

And I love this man like a brother.

This is definitely going to help Kerry. Bush can recover, but another performance like this, and he's dead.

Why? Bush is holding his own. Kerry is doing what he always does. He never has any solutions to a problem.

Your son has more wisdom and discernment than so many from my baby-boomer generation. An "Atta-boy and God bless" to your son!

For the undecided out there, particularly the more uninformed among them, I think this one has to go to Kerry.

1. Kerry was able to put president Bush on the defensive right from the start and has kept him there.

2. In spite of several openings, Bush did not stick the proverbial fork in Kerry when he had the chance. He's being too nice by not going after Kerry directly.

3. The President has come accross as almost pleading in some of his responses, which makes him look unsure rather than confident. Kerry has come accross as confident, articulate and in control of the facts (which is easy when the facts don't matter to you and you are willing to lie without hesitation, and, in fact, have plenty of practice doing just that).

The proof will be in the poll numbers next week, but I see Kery's numbers going up. Hate to say it, but that's the way I see it. I hope I am wrong.

W is doing great! Kerry is a weasel and it shows. W is speaking from his heart as well as his head. And W is slamming Kerry at every turn with his experience as President and his active leadership. This is a slam dunk for W. Kerry is toast!

Kerry on the AM shows tomorrow, "I actually won the debate before I stuck my foot in my mouth".

This should probably read

"I actually won the debate before I stuck my head up my arse".

It's not just you. I was thinking the same thing. I'm chatting with Mom (another Freeper) and we've both noticed ALOT of negativity.

Relax everyone. GWB is in God's hands. Let's let Him fight this battle.

Bush just scored his best points of the night on North Korea...

Good to finish up with a strong spot.

On the nuclear issue, this is where Bush should use Hannity's line about Kerry being on the wrong side of history in the Cold War with wanting a nuclear freeze while Reagan was breaking the Soviet Union.

That's what I heard too, and I had to ask my daughter-in-law if that's what he said. I guess then the French will like us.
