OK, memo for Bush's debate prep team: No more programmed talking points. Let Bush be Bush.
I agree with your assessment. Pres. Bush really needed to go on the offensive with this guy and show him for the liar that he is.
He's doing way better than I would though. Kerry is so despicable that I cannot even see straight.
There Orangeboy Skerry goes again with the stealth draft garbage. A stop loss order ain't a draft. President Bush sounded strained to say something good about Kerry. He did better than I could have.
Bush has this one in the bag. Kerry's hands are flailing around with his hands like he's trying to land a plane and is so long winded he's putting me to sleep.
Bush gave props to Kerry, and made a lighthearted Yale comment, made a comment on not admiring his Senate record.
Kerry just conceded to Bush about the trial on families, and complimenting Bush.
Bantering back and forth.
Bush can pull this off, he did, and Kerry can't. He's unhinged by this display!!!!!
I should have used spell checker.
That should be Ronald Reagan's Eleventh Commandment!
I like the President's style of speaking. Lurch is using way too many words and talking way too fast for an old Okie to be impressed. I've heard a lot of blowhards like him over my lifetime, and I have learned not to trust them.
And I think most of the United States will agree with me.
Kerry has throw so many lies that it's hard for ANYone to wade through them. Where to start?
Relax, It is like a football game, you sweat and wring your hands over every little mistake your team makes.
The Skipper (Jim Lehrer): Mr. Howell! How can you consider stock exchanges while wild natives are hunting us down?
Mr. Howell: I'll invite them to join in my latest stock buy-out. Works every time.
The Professor: Mr. Howell, they might not understand about "stocks".
Mr. Howell: Just change the dynamics on the island; they'll understand very quickly. Gilligan? My magaritas?
I've only been watching about 15 minutes. Some observations: Kerry is talking a lot but stumbling over everything. President Bush is having trouble articulating sometimes. Kerry looks like a doofus. Bush looks angry.
I call it a tossup right now.
I am not a moron. ---I am concerned.
Why didn't Bush say Kerry was the most liberal Senator???
i am REALLY glad to hear that people are thinking W won- I really, really hope that a LOT of undecided people think that and vote for W.
I think that W not being under control really, really cost him in the beginning. BUT - now he is really pulling it out and looking GREAT.
Kerry wants double secret sanctions against iran
It's driving me crazy. Hussein fired 1000s of missiles at our pilots in the leadup to the war. That fact is noted in the War Resolution that Kerry voted. Someone needs to ask Kerry "if he isn't prepared to go to war when our pilots are fired upon, when is he prepared to go to war." Finally, I can't understand why no one on our side, with exception of Rumsfeld, Medved and Victor Hanson, has mentioned that the one unassailable reason for going to war was that Hussein was attacking our pilots.
Bush needs more facts, I am very ardent Bush supporter, but Kerry has facts,
