LITTLE ROCK Marvin Parks, the Republican nominee for the 2nd District seat, said Thursday that Democratic incumbent Vic Snyder should apologize for dispatching staff members to get videos of the beheadings in Iraq.In a radio interview Thursday, Snyder said he wanted to view the video to get a sense of the brutality of terrorists who have beheaded Americans and foreign hostages in Iraq.
But Parks said at a news conference that Snyder's actions and talking about it publicly were insensitive to the families of those killed.
Parks said a person does not have to watch a video to know that terrorists who cut off people's heads are brutal. He said doing so was not how a congressman should be using his energy and attention.
Snyder's campaign had no immediate response to Park's criticism.
Shame on Vic Snyder and anyone else who watches them without an essential purpose (military, law enforcement, etc.)
Sorry, I have to agree with the Dim here. You watch those videos to see, to remind yourself what we are up against.
I have not watched them all but I have watched several. Heck the MSM not showing them and boycotting the tapes of 9-11 are some of the only things allowing the American people to become complacent about terrorism and keeping Kerry in this race.
You are being sarcastic, right?
I've watched a few, mostly to keep the hatred for muslims raging. Never ever forget, I feel we haven't yet started to pay the islamikazi's back for 9-11.
I think that the public needs to see these videos. They need to see the true nature of these beasts. The media is portraying the enemy as a bunch of "dissidents" not the sub-humans that they are.
It is similar to Holocaust films. When they are viewed, the evil of the Nazis can be recognized for what it was.
Ya, I don't think there is shame in watching them. Having said that, I personally have more rage than I have stomach, so I haven't watched any of them. Many of my friends have though, and their purposes are pure.
