May the hand of the Lord be on your friend during this time of pain, may he have the peace that passes all understanding and be kept safe on the journey. May the Lord, be with you, Mike, and keep you safe and give you the strength to do all that is required of you, while you are holding down the fort.

Mike, I am deeply saddened to hear of your friend Darryl's loss. May Darryl find comfort in God's love of him and know that his Dad is now with God, and no doubt telling God great and boastful stories regarding his son Darryl.
Father we come to you today to ask that you watch over, comfort and provide guidance to Darryl and his family during this their time of loss. Help them to find comfort in the warm memories which will wash over their pain. Help them to understand that their loss is only of the flesh, but never of the soul and spirit, for this man will forever live on in their hearts. Lord God, watch over Darry's brothers in Iraq as they defend the God given freedom bestowed by you to all of your children, the freedom of choice, the freedom to love, the freedom to rejoice and the freedom to find glory in you, Lord our Father. Lord guide these men and women through their difficult journey and keep them forever in your protective embrace. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
