I'm resistant to narcotic pain meds as well. Lean heavily on the anti-inflamatorys.
Contemplating surgery is not easy but the results should be well worth it.

I so rarely hear of someone else that has the medication problem. My dad was the same way...couldn't numb him for nothing either. The anti-inflamatories will be my friend. :) And yes, I am really looking forward to the end result.
