I buy a small piece of chicken for Trixie so she can still have some bird with the rest of the family. She will never (as long as I live) have turkey again.
I had another baby...named Doogie...3/4 coyote, 1/4 Australian Shepherd. She was given the entire turkey carcass after holiday dinners. We lost her to liver failure about 2 1/2 years ago. She was 15.
