She stopped by a Caribbean-American neighborhood in Brooklyn where the people had quickly put together a center where people could drop off donations to send to their native land. This was for relief in one of the islands. Teresa asked why they were sending clothing when they should be more concerned about sending water. Since she deemed water distribution a primary priority (which technically was correct, but she was not talking to the folk heading the relief effort; she was talking to some citizens who were sending what they could spare from their own belongings), she added that the people, particularly the children, could go naked for a while as they awaited clothing contributions. A total put-down to the effort these people were organizing.
