Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has launched a criminal investigation into forged military records allegedly obtained from President Bush's National Guard file that were aired by CBS News two weeks ago, referring a congressional request for the probe to the investigative division of the Texas Rangers."On Wednesday 52 Republican congressman urged the Texas attorney general and the U.S. attorney in Lubbock to investigate who created a bogus document at the heart of the now-discredited CBS News story accusing Bush of shirking his Guard duty," the Fox News Channel's Major Garrett reported. The congressional letter read in part: "We request an immediate investigation and prosecution if warranted. Our interest is in whether any state or federal crimes were committed."
Texas Attorney General Abbott immediately forwarded the congressional request to the investigative division of the Texas Rangers, Garrett said.
Whoo Hoo!
About time!
Maybe that helps to explain this?

From your link:
"And someone has decided that our Dad is the enemy. George Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the FreeRepublic terrorists would have you believe our Dad is a criminal."
It appears that nervous breakdowns run in that family.
I wish that show would come out on DVD, but alas, think it won't ever come out as a set.
I love Walker. I grew up watching it with my dad......has fond memories.
I don't like when they started adding all the new people and changing it though to try to keep it on the air.
Chuck Norris is a strong Christian and a wonderful man who is down to Earth...too bad he is a rare breed in acting.

"I did not fax copies of the CBS documents from Kinko's Abilene. CBS Employees did."
Bill Burkett to Ft. Worth Star Telegram in prepared message.
Can you imagine Rather and Mapes spending a couple years in a Texas prison? It would be like David Crosby in prison, but without the prison rock band. (Maybe Rather can have the same "VIP cell" where Crosby stayed.)

That screed sounds like so much stuff from the indymedias and the DU. But for someone like myself who has waded into those sewers for almost three years, I've lately come to the conclusion that Moore and Kerry and Carville, etc, pores over those sites for their ideas.
I'm not joking when I say that Moore has done no "work" on his own, but totally plagiarized the adolescent message boards.
Yes I can imagine that, and it brings tears of joy to my eyes :)
I really doubt if anyone does time. The important thing it
to find who made the memos and how much collusion was involved
in their manufacture and distribution.
