CBS has now laid down the gauntlet and accused President Bush of a series of serious "flip-flops." Is this revenge for Rathergate?
David Kuhn, chief political writer at cbsnews.com discusses the following ten "flip-flops" of policy and action in his article Bush's Top Ten Flip-Flops:
Weapons of Mass Destruction
Nation-building in Iraq
Iraq and the September 11th Attacks
The September 11th Commission
Free Trade
Homeland Security Department
Same Sex Marriage
Winning the War on Terror
Campaign Finance Reform
Gas Prices
Very interesting that today John Kerry released a new attack ad with the same theme............
I am sure there is no connection.
I just read a great response from the spokesman of the DOD -
He says many crticize the president for not "connecting the dots" on 911 - yet the criticize him for going into Iraq based upon the intelligence we got from Russia, Britian, Egypt and many others.
Can you imagine the outrage if he didn't do anything? Hypocrites....
The problem is bigger than Rather ..Its CBS irself ..The whole structure must fall .."CBS should stop posing as a legitimate news source" .True words buddy..
Exactly.
CBS should be ashamed. If anything gives succour to our enemies, it's unfounded accusations like these. Typical lib-dem-socialist idiocy.
remember that VIACOM is probably part of your mutual fund loads for your 401ks, and that your interests are being ill-served by their disinterest in keeping the stock high and profitable for YOU.
You can send an e-mail to viacom and don't forget your local affiliate with the threat that you are considering a letter to be placed in their folder for licensing.
CBS: the media wing of the Democrat party.
Notice the Dogpile ad at the top of the page--not exactly subliminal is it?
wow, and since it's coming from the most reputable source I'm just going to drop everything and vote for Skerry.
like were supposed to believe a word this debunked media outlet says?? oh please cBS spare us all and go away.
These are all easy to respond to.
makes you think *almost* that CBS could be an advanced arm of our organization -- anything they say now is completely discredited, from 60 Minutes on down, so...
but, no, i think they're just incompetent and corrput.
The media are in full Dem talking points mode. The Seattle P.I. today had TWO Bush flip-flop stories, front page and inside front page. Of course, the P.I. is pretty much preaching to the choir anyway.
DNCBS News!
This is a factual statement. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
Two months into the war, on May 29, 2003, Mr. Bush said weapons of mass destruction had been found.
We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories, Mr. Bush told Polish television. For those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them."
This is also a factual statement. Mnufacturing devices, dual use factories and agents themselves have been found in Iraq.
On Sept. 9, 2004, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Bush said: I recognize we didn't find the stockpiles [of weapons] we all thought were there.
This is also a factual statement.
CBS stands for Collosal Bull Sh5t.
Forgery is a crime punishable by law... Come clean Dan or go join Martha in WV ...hahaha
Yeah -- when you look at the list, all the material on this list is pretty straight-forward to repute or at least can be muddied enough with "plausible deniability" that voters won't pay any attention to it.
Bush can clean this mess up easily...the debate should allow him to shift the focus away from these petty issues and back onto Kerry's voting record, personality, etc.
This is getting serious folks. I'm for getting their broadcast license pulled. Put it up for auction.
Tomorrow night, Kerry will use this to validate his flip flops.
Watch...
