Fox should really consider doing an exclusive on all this draft baloney... Anyway they could spin it as "Honored to Serve" why the US doesn't need a draft and the 14 democrats that support one.. hahahaha

He credited the blogosphere for debunking and exposing another cBS "news" piece, this one about the draft.

Now go pat yourselves on the back.

this has to be the fake Draft stuff

Or the 1984-style rewrite of last night's story.

The web site transcript has the show last night identifying Cocco as a member of a left-wing anti-draft group.

The show last night didn't.

Read about it at Little Green Footballs (the folks who did the memo vs. Microsoft Word images.

See The Issues: Reviving The Draft [1984 alert: CBS transcript inserts ID of Cocco: wasn't in broadcast].

Here are some interesting members of a Philiadelphia stop the draft group on the web. All "average people", by CBS standards I presume:

Some of the 15 members of the Philadelphia Stop the Draft "Meetup Group":
http://stopthedraft.meetup.com/8/members/

* beverlycocco - Philadelphia, PA - Beverly Cocco of recent CBS news fame, one of the "average people" consulted by CBS on issues that might be affected by the presidential election: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/28/eveningnews/main646055.shtml

* Rep. Mark B. Cohen - (D-Philadelphia), a Howard Dean delegate to the DNC, now turned John Kerry supporter. On his blogsite, Cohen questions "the depth of Bush's opposition to draft restoration and states "The media and other blogs should be intensely questioning Bush on this": http://www.phillyblog.com/mark_cohen/

* "ladywriter" - (some of here other "meetup groups" include "Democracy Matters -- Philly for Kerry" and "Philadelphia Against Bush")

* Pat Deforno, who is "outraged by this presidents actions by getting our country in worldwide danger by preemptive strikes on Irag" -----

Undecided voters are talking about this issue so the Dem misinformation campaign is working, to some extent.
