On September 11th, 2001, America experienced the most terrible and deadly attack in its history. John Kerry believes we need to think big and do better and get more young Americans serving the nation.

As part of his 100 day plan to change America, John Kerry will propose a comprehensive service plan that includes requiring mandatory service for high school students and four years of college tuition in exchange for two years of national service.

Sounds like Mr. Kerry wants to nationalize undergraduate education. If I'm wrong, then what's to prevent a university from jacking tuition to even higher levels. After all, there's a certain "ability-to-pay" component to all this.

This was recently removed but I have called the Kerry campaign and still am waiting for a clear answer on the details of this plan. And yes, it does include military. But do not forget it is "MANDATORY" volunteer service, lol! So why is Kerry spreading lies about the "Draft" and President Bush, when what he plans to do is "SOCIALISM AT IT'S FINEST"!

I keep trying to tell people this. A young girl on a non-political blog is voting the first time and is determine Kerry is the man. She gives us all these excuses and then when we give her reasons why Kerry is going to do things -- like the draft -- then she'll say "well that's not the only reason."

I'm still trying to pin her down, but sure sounds like Michael Moore Brainwashing to me. She said she hasn't seen F911, but did see Columbine and has read his books and "likes him."

So I gave her a link to the cache of this on kerry's website.... we'll see, I keep trying. A Big part of the problem is until you've worked, paid taxes, bought a house, etc., you don't understand the difference between Socialism and Capitalism. All they see at this age is" Free Education, Free Healthcare... etc.
