Something to Yak About The Flips Just Keep On Floppin! Unreal. An advance item in the Early Briefing from Bulletin News Network on John Kerrys interview with ABCs Diane Sawyer reveals yet another flip-flop of goliath proportions. When asked whether the war in Iraq was worth it, Kerry reportedly responded, We should not have gone to war, knowing the information we know today. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? The Yak reminds faithful readers of John Kerrys August 9, 2004 remark at the edge of the Grand Canyon. When asked whether he would support the war knowing what we now know, Kerry replied, Yes, I would have voted for the authority. I believe it was the right authority for a president to have. What does John Kerry know today that he didnt know six-and-a-half weeks ago other than his numbers have tanked? Kerrys Plan For Iraq, Terrorism As Clear As Mud; Will Debate Further Muddy The Waters? Democrats are said to be more optimistic about November 2 now that John Kerry has presumably sharpened his attacks on President Bush regarding Iraq and the war on terrorism. But will this so-called sharpened attack translate into a coherent message in Thursdays debate or will we see more of John Kerrys chronic vacillation? Read on
Kerry Offers Four-Point Plan On Iraq, War On Terror As the Gentleman from Massachusetts began his assault on the presidents record of success in Iraq and the war on terror, he opened with a four-point plan that included the stuff President Bush was already doing. All four points John Kerry proposed today for Iraq are already contained in the president's five-point plan,'' said Bush-Cheney 04 spokesman Steve Schmidt. Kerry Offers Six-Point Plan On Iraq, War On Terror After finally getting a set of clips from his flacks and checking out the presidents long-standing five-point plan, the Democrat nominee apparently decided to up the ante, with the media dutifully reporting on Kerrys six-point plan for Iraq. Kerry Offers Seven-Point Plan On Iraq, War On Terror More points are better in frequent flier and hotel rewards programs, but when it comes to a coherent strategy for fighting and winning the war on terrorism, John Kerrys approach is just, well, confused. Apparently deciding that seven is better than six, Boston readers were regaled Saturday with reports of Kerrys new seven-point plan for Iraq. Watch this space for future eight, nine and 10-point plans from the Kerry campaign. Kerrys Secret Post-Debate War Plan Revealed Political observers have been breathlessly awaiting word of John Kerrys secret post-debate plan, which was alluded to by KE04 campaign flack Stephanie Cutter. But details are apparently beginning to leak out. The Washington Post reports, the only way Bush can be defeated is if Democrats win, or neutralize, the debate on Iraq by playing up chaos and casualties there, according to a Kerry campaign aid. Small wonder the information comes from an article entitled The Politics of Fear. So- if Kerry had his way, Saddam , Uday and Qusay would still be sitting in power, with billions of walking around dollars to grease the palms of terrorists and their WMD factories still intact.
Why, yes, that sounds like a good plan.
