We are planning a prayer vigil for Terri. What we'd like to do is cover the time of the next hearing (to be held Thursday 9/30/04) for Terri in prayer. We'd like to have some help from other Freepers who might be interested in praying for Terri for an hour.
Today's hearing will be decisive in what happens to Terri.
We come to you today, Father, to praise you for the good work that we believe, in faith, you will do in this sad situation. Be there in the courtrooms, the offices, the research libraries, the hospital, the homes and the hearts Lord. Touch all those involved with this in a special way. We pray that your will be done, and accept it as your work in the lives of this family and the countless others.
Bless especially this hour, Lord, Terri. Help her to feel Your touch upon her, your arm around her shoulders, and your love surrounding her.
We will continue to pray, believing.

I was up at 5:40 and completed my prayer hour from 6 to 7AM.

Lord Jesus, if it is your will, I pray that you touch Terri's body and heal her, for YOUR GLORY and Honor. I remember in Your Word, the healing of many by just a word or touch of Your Hand. I believe Jesus that Your arm is not shortened that it cannot save. Nor is it any different today than in those early days of the Old Testament. Father I look to you, and I will PRAISE YOU that the outcome of all of this will be to YOUR GLORY and HONOR.
Bless all those on this forum, who live in Florida and are working so tirelessly on Terri's behalf. Many who have suffered through the hurricanes and are hurting also.Jesus I pray that You will give Governor Jeb Bush divine wisdom in knowing just how best to handle this case.
I will praise YOU, I will exhalt YOU, I will TRUST YOU, and THANK YOU, for all that you are doing and going to do this day. In Your precious name, Amen.

Prayer hour for Terri from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (and some overtime) completed.

he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names's sake.

I am preparing for my prayer hour now. I feel the Lord's strength in this fight for Terri's life and the lives of other disabled people. Terri is only one of many that we hope to save by our fervent efforts. I feel so uplifted that I am surrounded by so many other FReepers who care so deeply about this issue of life. Praise God that so many are willing to fight for something that is, in our country's Constitution, an inalienable right. Not a privilege, a right.

No news, yet. I've hit 'refresh' on my search engine so many times-lol-my index finger is getting numb.---will use my pinky finger and toes if I must :)
Still praying. And I did say a prayer for her attorney. Does anyone know any song writers? I do, but will be several days before I can contact them. I was thinking it is time for a song for Terri. How about Til God Calls Me Home as the beginning? We could call it Terri's Song. Any ideas? If we can get it written, I will work really hard to get it recorded.
Keep us posted. Terri's life hangs in the balance . . . as usual. High drama today.
