With all the important stuff going on, why do our damn politicians waste out time and money on crap like this.
How about making English the National Language?? You might offend someone?? Too bad!! I'm sick of tired of catering to people who are too lazy to do what our early immigrants did. NO ONE ever made them give up their native tongue. They just had enough common sense to know that "We can understand and help each other better if we're all speaking the same language".
Hehe...this sentiment would be funny, if it weren't true.
Our business is located in a city that's got a "woodlands preservation ordinance" that says you need a vote of the city council if you want to cut down a "protected" tree bigger than 6" dbh (that's diameter at breast height if you wondered). The only trees that aren't "protected" are willows and poplars.
I told the planning administrator that their rules would force us to adopt one of two new landscaping strategies: plant 2" trees and then make sure to cut them down when they got to 5"; or, plant only willows or poplars, so that we could remove them whenever we wanted. She thought I was joking.
