Obama is Alive and Hiding in.....Pakistan? (Serious vanity...:-)

Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. He has not been able to drive a message. He spent all his money building name ID, and now he and his cohorts think it's over.

The Dems are complacent.

Let's take advantage of that.

Just don't tell 'em...shhhhhh....

;-)

Interesting that people who (you are talking to) have never participated in Illinois politics suddenly know so much about the State.

I live in Wisconsin, right next door, and my girlfriend lives in Lake County, IL. I've clocked more time in the state than has Mr. Keyes.

This is it. I posted this. If posting this article is "attacking Keyes"...well...the comments made to me on this board shows who is attacking who.
I never said anything critical of Cheneys daughter, BTW.

I suspect you know more about the State, and to let you know: I was not referring to you about not knowing Illinois politics. I think some people who claim to be "Lincoln republicans" have a lock on knowing what's going on in Illinois because Lincoln was there.

" Oh, and by the way: the GOP in NC isn't exactly running on all cylinders either. I recognize we've got problems, too. One of them is named John Edwards. "

The national spotlight will make that whining ambulance chaser a soft target in the next NC cycle. Go get him!

It is the Keyes-bashers who have always come on to Keyes threads for the last four years and turned them into flame-fests

The only one who has flamed on this thread has been you.

And yesterday, on the Maya Keyes thread, Keyes supporters several times publicly pinged Jim Robinson and the moderators to express their desire for the thread to be pulled -- which it eventually was.

Go ahead and listen to the media's formulation, then, if it serves your anti-Keyes bias. I really don't care.

LOL 129 and 135; told ya! If one reads the article they will see that it actually is in SUPPORT of the success of the Illinois GOP, and points out how the arrival of certain factions has caused a split and subsequent defeat of the GOP there.

Bingo. It was perfectly civil on that thread on others until the Keyes campaign workers began with their personal attacks.

No wonder Keyes picked these folks.

" Not exactly. He ran from the number of debates he had promised from the get-go. "

If he's breaking a promise than like I said that's politics as usual. LOL Any frontrunner 30 or 50 point lead is going limit his face time and coast.

If President Bush led Kerry by the same margin, I'd recommend he skip the debates entirely.

Get serious, there is no possible way that Alan Keyes can win, none!

Most people in this state see him as crazy he isn't even getting 20% of the vote! I don't want to see Obama win either but the only way he would lose is if it came out he was a space alien or a serial killer and even then he'd probably be out Keyes.

The Illinois GOP is the saddest organization in this country. We were plagued by corruption and now the entire party is looked at as a joke. We have Judy Baar RINO running the party and abortionists like Corrine Wood calling us conservatives as the "fringe".

The Republican Party in this state needs to dump Judy Baar and find a younger more charismatic leader. Judy Baar looks like a beer vendor at the White Sox game to most of us and she votes like Mayor Daley.

Well I wouldn't because the debates are too high profile for President and it's also the place where a mandate can be clarified for the coming landslide. But I would understand that you have a strong case.

While I certainly agree with your assessment of GOP leadership, I don't agree that we can't win. We can, if conservatives will quit listening to the defeatists and the RINOs, and if they will get off their butts right now and work.

I've seen huge leads melt away for candidates who sit on them before.

And Obama's numbers are as soft as any I've ever seen. The people of Illinois have been deceived about who the man is. They think he is a moderate.

If we aren't going to disabuse the voters of that false notion, who is? The media? Hahahaha...

So, which part of the agenda that I am forwarding by posting this (positive) thread do you take issue with?

Don't you like us exposing the true nature of the socialist Obama?

Is it that we're trying to stir the conservatives of IL to action?

Is it our efforts to register tens of thousands of new Bush/Keyes voters?

Is it that we are trying to rebuild the obviously defunct IL GOP?

What is it with you people? Has your oppostion to Alan robbed you of all common sense?

We're trying to do good things, and you're trying to tie anchors around our ankles.

Any fair-minded observer of this thread can clearly see whose agenda you're serving.

Typical. Anyone who disagrees about anything "hates Keyes".

Well why not. Having characterized potential dem crossovers (as well as dem voters) and independents as sinners, it's time to purge the Republican party of all but true believers. After all, it's the Land of Lincoln. The Republican party started not far from here in Wisconsin, so what would you know :>)

Sometimes a purgitive is needed, when you are afflicted with certain ailments.

Now that we know who our enemies are, we can begin to rebuild...

And I repeat, this fight has just begun in the great State of Illinois.

Later.

I'm sure you're right. Illinois has 10 Republican members in the House, of 19. I'm sure they're all meeting in DC as we speak wondering how to purge the Illinois Rupublican party of disloyal voters. Our Republican Senator, for another month, is probably helping.
