Obama is Alive and Hiding in.....Pakistan? (Serious vanity...:-)

Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. He has not been able to drive a message. He spent all his money building name ID, and now he and his cohorts think it's over.

The Dems are complacent.

Let's take advantage of that.

Just don't tell 'em...shhhhhh....

". . . why not just get out that 21% and vote for the right man, not just the one you think will win????"

Exactamundo. My sentiments exactly!!!

"Personally, I think a larger, under-explored story, is how both Republicans (pre Keyes) were investigated and trashed by the major paper in the State and no one appeared to lay a finger on Obama... the anointed-one."

Not to mention, too, the smear job done on his Democratic opponent in the Primary, who was leading quite substantially.

I smell a rat. Could George Soros, Obama's major financier, be at the bottom of this? Hmmmm . . .

Most certainly. how old is that old fart, anyway? I hope I live long enough to see an America free of Soros, Carter, Michael Moore, Bill Mahr, Al Franken (is he really running for Senate?) Janine Garapolo, and more...

You feel compelled to make things up as you go along because you have so little that is of substance to go on.

I asked you a simple "yes or no" question: is Alan Keyes willing to publicly commit to staying in Illinois after the November election? You replied by saying "Alan and the rest of us are committed to the long-term effort to rebuild the body politic in this great State", which is evasive and nonresponsive. Since you are unwilling to answer in the affirmative regarding Mr. Keyes's future residency plans, I think it is reasonably safe to assume that he has no plans to remain there. If I am wrong about this, please correct me by answering the original question with a simple "yes" or "no".

Why would I feel any obligation to give you anything except the scorn you deserve? You're a malicious enemy, for what reasons only you could explain.

Besides, I gave you a thorough answer. Any further response I wouldn't give on behalf of any individual, as I already said. I wouldn't presume, as you seem to feel entitled to do, to tell anyone, not even you, where they should choose to live next year.

But I will succumb to the temptation to tell you that if you wish, you're free to go live in Hades.

Are you really associated with the Keyes campaign.

On the same topic, several vanities have been posted by 1smallVoice making some rather damning accusations against Obama. He seems to indicate he conducts outreach meetings for Keyes, is he associated with the Keyes campaign.

Why would I feel any obligation to give you anything except the scorn you deserve?

Why should Illinois voters feel any obligation to support a candidate who won't commit to living in their state beyond election day?

You're a malicious enemy

Your readiness to demonize anyone who doesn't support Mr. Keyes 100% says far more about you than it does about me.

Besides, I gave you a thorough answer.

Thoroughly vague and nonresponsive.

I wouldn't presume, as you seem to feel entitled to do, to tell anyone, not even you, where they should choose to live next year.

I can state with certainty that Tim Michels, the Republican candidate for Senate in Wisconsin, will remain a Wisconsin resident after the election, win or lose. That Mr. Keyes is unwilling to make a similar commitment to the voters of Illinois suggests that his candidacy is motivated by opportunism rather than a genuine desire to work for the citizens of Illinois.

But I will succumb to the temptation to tell you that if you wish, you're free to go live in Hades.

Your tactics on these threads provide ample illustration of the reason for Mr. Keyes's standing in the polls.

Your tactics on these threads provide ample illustration of how the Illinois GOP has gotten to where it is. You're just like the folks who have run it into the ground, no matter where you reside.

That's one of the things I've always loved about FR. It's a great microcosm.

I learned some time ago, through hard experience, not to give personal information to the Keyes-bashers. Thanks.

Thanks you two for your positive and helpful attitude! :-)

We've got about a million motivated Keyes voters in Illinois right now, literally. That ain't beanbag.

The poll numbers discourage those who are easily discouraged, admittedly, but grassroots conservatives are a special breed. They are not going to let temporary difficulties deter them. They will press on and fight the good fight, epecially when they know they have leaders who are loyal to them and to what they believe in and who are paying the price right alongside them.

This particular campaign is of necessity occuring in a very compressed time frame. I'm totally serious when I say that this campaign has just started. If you heard Alan's announcement speech, you know what he said...that he couldn't promise victory, but he could promise a fight. Well, we are fighting. Let the media and the Left in both parties rage on. We will keep fighting.

Well, I did say 25% max.....

I still can't believe the Illinois Republican Party thought it would be a good idea to import Alan Keyes (from Maryland) as their Senate candidate. Cripes -- he's a smart guy and all, but he's unelectable in all but a few states, and Illinois is definitely not one of those.

Looks like the Illinois Republicans are gearing up to challenge the Libertarians....

Your negativism is so two months ago, and at this point in a general election would be more appropriate on DU.

Asking questions equates to Keyes bashing? Interesting concept.
