Breaking News from Little Danny Ra^ther...

CBS is planning on dumping CBS News and in fact changing their name in order to distance themselves from more Ra^ther suspicious reporting. The new network name will be CSI, cashing in on the successes of CSI, CSI:Miami and CSI:NY.

CSI also unveiled plans for CSI:Boston with it pilot centering on the Boston CSI team trying to figure out how the 40 foot Scaramouche ended up under wraps in Middleton, Rhode Island without anyone noticing it.

The only problem is that no one believes him.

Two thoughts:
- This report is Dan's and CBS's way of saying "We do what we want-F you" to the viewing public and blogosphere.
- This is about VIACOM as a whole now not just CBS. "Rock the Vote" is an MTV-Viacom operation. All things Viacom should be avoided, and all entities of Viacom deserve to be e-mail flamed.

This mess has to impact Viacom as a whole in a very negative way before Sumner (I'm a lying jerk when I say I support Bush) Redstone lets his business sense take over from his political instincts. So the consuming public must make it happen.
