The article does not say if the "Iconoclast" has endorsed popular Democrat congressman Chet Edwards, a secularist opposed to school prayer believed leading in his reelection bid in a generally "conservative" area.

This "news"paper makes me laugh. See a previous post about the article.

I don't think "The News" should be endorsing anyone. Even if 500 newspapers came out endorsing Bush, I'd still say that. Its "The News". It means, "Hey, this thing happened, just letting you know".

The Iconoclast's publisher and editor-in-chief, W. Leon Smith, must be looking for his 15 subscribers of fame.

I don't think "The News" should be endorsing anyone. I call this newspaper the "Daily Wiper".

The editorial also criticized Bush's proposals on Social Security (news - web sites) and Medicare.Americans better get with the program.

Big woo. It's one of those throw away papers with a whopping circulation of 425.

...the Luckenbach Moon?
To: Theodore R.
This isn't an endorsement for Kerry, it is a endorsement for anyone but Bush.
Read it here.

I'm sure the paper and both demonratz in town will have a profound impact on Bush's 65/35 win in Texas.

I believe the Mayor of Crawford (a huge dim) endorsed kerry 6 weeks ago. I was told the Mayor also owns the paper. No surprise here!

This is what happens when a leftist twit runs the opinion portion of a news paper.
Everyone else is pro-Bush probably except this moron. He says Bush didnt follow through on his conservative initiatives...so what is Kerry going to do to fulfill? LOL

No one in Stonewall, Texas, near Luchenbach liked Lyndon Baines Johnson either, even as far away as Fredericksburg. You had to get to Austin to find a real Johnson Supporter. This doesn't come as a surprise.
