Sorry aboot the link to this lefty rag, but it's interesting nonthless. I'm glad our government sees the light on this, if even for nothing more than to maintain a good relationship with the United States - afterall, we share this continent, we should share in it's defence. This is not to say that I'll vote for these b*stards, but at least someone in our gov't gets it. We need to be working together to cover each others back, moreso for America because everyone is gunning for you guys these days.

Is it permission to use our airspace that is at issue? I haven't had enough time to read up on it. Since, as of yet, there will be no missiles located on Canadian soil, what is the nature of our joining in.

Canada should work with the United States in the controversial missile defence program for political reasons, not just security concerns...And the U.S. President should tell them to take a hike!
