I bought some of this stuff a few years ago, and threw it away because I remembered using this stuff some years ago and didn't want to turn out orange.
I have a deep dark tan, brought about naturally by sitting on our deck nearly every day we had some sun. The back of my hands is the same tone as my face.
There is no way he gets that color over ONE WEEKEND in the sun.
What is with these dimz getting a fake orange 'tan' just before the first debate? Gore was the same color for his first debate, but I think his was due to makeup applied for that evening.

My tan is the same as well -- not having tanned hands was a sure tip-off not to mention the skin tone looked like my daughters who vowed never to use that stuff again!

As a lifeguard, I have some history with "tans." To get that sort of color, you have to be in the sun with a YV index of about 8-9 for about two straight hours, and then that'll only glow like his is glwing for MAYBE two days before it'll subside.
Unfortunately, Bedford's UV index last week max'ed out at 5. Unlikely anyone would get a natural tan like that on a UV-5 day in less than about 6 hours
Oh, and if he were playing flag football, he probably didn't play for more than 2 hours anyway.
You forgot, Kerry is going to be the second black President. Meanwhile he found out that he can't naturally make his skin darker, so now he is resorting to chemicals.
