Wasn't it the 2000 election that had all the ribbons for various causes. And some of the local candidates were trying to out-do their competitors by wearing greater numbers of ribbons?

I don't remember the ribbons, but (and I know this isn't politically correct) I just find it strange for this grown man who wants to lead the most powerful nation in the world to be wearing this bracelet for months.

It seems like a prop, (besides appearing immature) and I doubt that as unlikeable as Kerry is, that he's helping the cause any. If anything Kerry and Theresa could contribute some of their millions to the cause.
