More evidence the Democrats are planning an Election Day surprise for George Bush.

NewsMax's recent "Insider Report" revealed that the Democrats and their 527 groups, as well as the major unions, were launching an unprecedented $300 million "get out the vote" effort to defeat President Bush.

Republican strategists have warned the Democratic efforts may be laying the groundwork for massive vote fraud on Election Day.

Insider Report also detailed that Democrats have been outregistering Republican voters by a factor of 5 to 1 in Ohio and Florida.

But now there is word from Iowa that the Democrats are preparing to snag that state through "voter efforts."

The Des Moines Register details that as of last week 199,592 absentee ballots have been requested -- with most of these coming from Iowa's 20 largest counties.

As the New York Times put it, "Under Iowa law, anyone can request an absentee ballot, no questions asked . . . "

And who is asking for these ballots?

The paper said that a study of the state's 20 largest counties found that "roughly three times as many Democrats as Republicans" have requested ballots.

The Democratic operation in the state has not gone unnoticed by Republicans.

Republican Congressman Jim Leach told the Times the Iowa Democratic Party "has now become the single best organized political party in the entire country."

Back in 2000 Gore lost Iowa at the polls, but still eked out a 4,144 victory after absentee ballots were counted.

With every vote crucial in this contest, Democrats are clearly leaving nothing to chance

Thieves, liars, and cheats.

How the hell do we counter this blatant attempt to steal the election?

The new media is our only hope against these monsters. They must have done this so many times in the past that they think they can get away with it.

We must have nationwide picture ID to vote.

I got a phone call from the Iowa GOP stating that MoveOn and ACT (and other shadowy groups, they called them) were going to pose as poll officials to collect absentee ballots.

Not only are they laying the ground work for massive vote fraud, but they are going to contest every state they loose in court.

First I see Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and now Iowa???? Looks like the Rats are up to no good as usual. How in the world are the Republicans letting the Rats get away with this. There needs to be an integrity check in all 50 states. Purge voter list for the dead, illegal, made up names, etc.... and ensure that everyone checks out. If not, then we will be up the creek.

It will be hard to top Chicago's 2000 voter turnout of 103%. Republicans are too chicken to confront such Dem fraud, and this may cost them the election.

If democRATS really believed the people wanted them-that they have a mandate - they would not need to cheat.

As one small part of "WE THE PEOPLE" I DEMAND prosecution, I DEMAND that all votes are proven legitimate. I understand that voting is a "State" thing, but we CAN NOT ALLOW our country to be taken over by LIARS and THIEVES.

I hate to sound like a 2000 democrat, but I WILL NOT ACCEPT a communist like Kerry as President.

Wasn't Iowa one of the 5 states where Kerry pulled out all of his advertising money? Do they know something?

My mom works in an old folks home in Iowa. She works the evening shift. The day shift is solid Democrat and has made sure "all" guests are registered and get their absentie voter card. They also "help" the droolers vote a straight 'rat ticket.

Republicans better get a handle on these efforts by Dems to execute the most massive campaign of vote fraud in the history of this country.

Bush may have a huge lead with voters, but with all the fake registrations and absentee ballots being ginned up by Dems, we may see this election going to Kerry.

This election may be stolen. The Dems this year have no compunction whatsoever about blatantly cheating the system to get their guy in the White House, law and civility be damned. It's all about winning.

Nearly 4 years later, and this still galls me. I've almost stopped watching late nite tv because the jokes about Bush stealing the election in 2000 or about how Gore 'should have won' are just not funny anymore. The whining about how Bush 'took' Florida with the help of his brother is like a mantra for them now. Nevermind the boatloads of Haitians and others brought into Florida just prior to the election who apparently voted. Never mind that Democrat voters voting outnumbered registered Dem voters in places like Fl, Iowa, NM, and IL, where even long-dead Democrats came out in record numbers to vote. There are so many allegations of fraud in the last presidential election dealing with democrats and little of it makes the news or is being looked into... Just the mantra of 'not another Florida'... And to think that they are gearing up in an even greater effort, fueled by hatred, to try to steal what they failed to steal last time, and with the support of so many who would rather see anyone, even someone they dislike, King Flip-Flop, than Bush, whom they profess to hate. But they liken themselves as the peaceful, loving party...
