There you go. Eliminate the mimimum wage. Pay the farmworkers and other unskilled jobs that attract illegals the fair market price for their labor. Would solve a lot of problems.

I can see abolishing the minimum wage after all kinds of welfare programs are abolished. As it is --- many people can afford to accept minimum wage and below because they will get $400 to $700 in housing subsidies, free health care, food stamps, WIC, and a whole lot more.

There seems to be two ways that wages go up --- labor shortages where business competes for labor --- begins offering higher wages, benefits such as health insurance, etc --- or unions and violence and socialism and government involvement.
