I suspect most of the illegal aliens we're complaining about here are young able bodied working people and probably mostly males.

If they are here illegally, we are responsible for their health care (via the ER), and any other expenses they incur. If they have kids, then we get to pay for those as well.

Are you for just opening up the border so contractors and farmers can a strady sdtream of cheap labor? Should we abolish any laws that say you may not hire illegal immigrants? Why? Just to make life easier on business and harder on the taxpaying citizens?

By the way, I'm from a family of 9 children.

No I am not in favor of opening our borders. I am in favor of requiring the Congress to do their constitutional duty to regulate immigration. I'm also in favor of eliminating liberal giveaway programs for illegals. But I'm NOT in favor of seizing assets or jailing employers or militarizing the border or building a wall across 1,500 miles of border or having a war against Mexico or against the Mexican people, etc.

Don't forget the devastating impact on the public school system in Cali and the SW. I was shocked to find out that 6th graders are doing work at the "See Jane run" level, due to 50% of each class consisting of illegal alien kids who are illiterate in Spanish, and almost non-English speaking. Yet they are so numerous, that they determine the speed of each class.

How is this fair to the American kids and their families who are PAYING for those public schools? It makes a cruel joke of education to teach kids at levels several years back from their grade, for the sake of the vast number of illegals.

Me too --- I think everyone should have as many kids as they can afford --- the more the merrier --- except when you see girls dropping out of high school because they've got 3 kids already and aren't 18 years old yet --- or some impoverished family unable to speak a word of English but with 7 or 8 kids and another on the way --- and the mother is pulling out her food stamps --- and the man with her is paying cash for the beer and cigarettes --- it does make you mad.
