W did very well I thought.. however, IMO-- Fox misled or 'implied' that BOR would interview the President for the full hour...

Since I have long since dumped BOR from my viewing habits, I wasn't even going to watch this... but .. I did turn it on, listened to last 7 or 8 minutes.. then... POOF.. only going to be 15 min interview, with BS from Kerry camp.. I WAS LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!! Felt misled and cheated.. Had I known they were going to dissect it, I wouldn't have turned it on in the first place.. (God knows they won't honestly dissect a Kerry sentence..) It already looked like Bill was interviewing for a job CBS... so screw it........ Fox will hear from me about this.. BOR is already history, and if anyone from the W's team is reading this... I'll wait for the debates.. Letting a troll like BOR USE the President makes me ill.

A tool that does not serve any useful purpose at that.

I wish CBS would go ahead and name Rather's replacement so that O'Reilly can stop campaigning for the position.

I still think BOR is a stool, but at least he asked about the illegal immigration. I'm not happy with the Pres answer,
sounds like it came from Kerry's play book.

There was an earlier thread posted regarding a Democratic attack ad that purportedly used footage from the interview with the President well before its broadcast. Ladies and Gentlemen of the Free Republic, I respectfully submit that if that is true, then someone working for Mr. O'Reily, or Mr. O'Reily himself, must have supplied video of the interview to the operatives of the DNC or the Kerry campaign. There is no other possible explanation as to how the Kerry people would have been able to concoct an attack ad unless they had access to the footage well in advance. If this is so, then this is an egregious abuse and the people responsible for it need to be named and held accountable. In the words of the immortal Buckhead, "this should be pursued aggressively."

I've watched a fair amount of "The Factor" in recent years. Two occasions stood out for me, in which I found myself upset w/ Bill (both surround evening network anchors).

One was where he was commenting on Rather's interviewing of Saddam, and Bill said "heck, I'd take that interview if I could get it."

The other was when he interviewed Peter Jennings, and Bill called Canada "socialist", and Peter responded "it's not socialist and you know it". Bill just totally backed off and changed subject.

Is it any wonder that Michael Savage is calling Bill a "Brown-nosed Leprachaun".

You be the judge.

O’REILLY: The South Vietnamese didn't fight for their freedom, which is why they don’t have it today.

Not sure that's entirely fair or accurate.

Many South Vietnamese did fight - and fight hard. The ARVN airborne was topnotch. Not enough, perhaps. But the NVA, their superpower backers and, yes, the United States perfidy helped seal their fate as well.
