The Wellstone strategery in play again. To the same degree of success, hopefully.

I'm sorry, but this is disgraceful. These men and women who have chosen to join the U.S. military are adults, not children. This smacks of more self-absorbed whining by baby boomer parents. Yes, I would be sad and maybe a little angry if my son or daughter had been killed in Iraq, but I would not be blaming the U.S. government for "my loss." I would be proud of the choice my son or daughter made, and would respect his or her choice by grieving for them in private, as a person with good manners would. That woman who attacked Laura Bush last week is a case in point. Moms and dads, it's NOT about you!

-- Ivan Medina is an Iraq War veteran himself, whose twin brother Irving was killed in November.

He's the whiney-assed chaplain's assistant that appeared at the anti-Bush rally in DC a week or so ago. I don't think that he ever got closer to Baghdad than Kuwait.

My cousin was killed serving in Iraq on April 24th. Our family supports Bush now more than ever.

I had the honor of presenting Gold Star Banners to 3 area families who had lost loved ones in Iraq yesterday. Not one of these families thought that their sons deaths had been in vain, it has never occurred to them lash out at anybody or to lay blame except where it belongs..on the terrorists who hit us on 9/11 and those who do not want freedom in Iraq.

They shared stories with us about each them, how each of them loved what they were doing for the military.

Is it difficult for them, of course it is, the pain of losing a child never leaves you. One of the Mothers told me that if she could not go and wallowed in grief and self pity that everything she taught her son about life was a lie.

All 3 of these families showed support for President Bush and the rest of the those who serve. President Bush did meet with the families privately after a rally here and cried openly with them, a genuine tear, and thanked them for their sons service.

Funny how you never see these parents on TV.

Don't you folks (americanspirit) know about the rat's nest or hornet's nest theory?????

Attract the vermin to Iraq so we can terminate them over there instead of dealing with them here. YES I want to be alienated (from the terrorists).

And thank God we have brave, courageous and honorable men (and women) that volunteer to be the exterminators.

Let them. Watch and you'll see numerous families who've lost loved ones in Iraq, 9-11, and who currently HAVE family in Iraq, do the exact same thing and support the President. And they'll probably do it with much more class.

God rest the souls of the heroes who died and God bless their families. It is a shame that some are so overcome by grief that they are trying to dishonor what their loved ones did. And damn to hell those who are using these grief-stricken people.

I wonder how much coordination has been going on around the country the past week or so.....here's an article that ran just yesterday about a Wisconsin family with a son in Iraq.

Rita Piper - Mothers Against Bush

"He said that he needs to get tougher so he can get some respect from the Army. All the years of raising my 22-year-old son to be a gentle expressive male and now it is a detriment," said Rita, an unabashed liberal who protested against the Vietnam War years ago. She has a bumper sticker that says "Mothers Opposing Bush."

Rita has been actively working to help John Kerry replace George Bush in the White House.

Here we go. Who will ask these families about 911 and terrorism? More smear at the expense of our soldiers.

Cindy, Carly and Jane Sheehan, mother and sisters of Spec. Casey Sheehan of Vacaville, Calif., killed in Baghdad April 4, 2004.

I saw this woman on a "town hall" meeting that was attended by my brother and his wife. This "lady is as crazy as a loon. Were talking way way Left field. She never thought that her medic son would be hurt while in the service and now that he's been killed, she's lost it.

She was so far out there even my brother and if wife could say she was "Interesting".

"Eric Theirmann, two-time Academy Award filmmaker who produced the TV ads."

That might be stretching it a bit. It doesn't claim he's won an award but that was my first reading. According to the Oscar database he's not actually won an award himself.
Search for yourself. http://www.oscars.org/awardsdatabase/index.html

His bio at his company website is http://www.impact4u.com/eric.html
He claims he worked on Women--for America, for the World which did win in 1986 for the Producer:

Women--for America, for the World
Educational Film & Video Project.
1986 (59th) * DOCUMENTARY (Short Subject) -- Vivienne Verdon-Roe, Producer

This is what I turned up in 5 minutes so it should be checked out further.

If you Google search Nadia McCarthy, her name is all over the place.

The best thing to ever happen to her is her son was killed. People are paying attention to her.

God bless him and God damn her.
