DEVELOPING: CBS PLANS FOR SPRING RATHER RETIREMENT.
That isn't news, two years ago Rather said he was retiring right after the 2004 election.

The remark about Ann Coulter was totally out of line, but Drudge handled it well--didn't take it too seriously. I'm not listening to the show, but I'm sure the syphillis line was in response to Ann's column sugesting that Kitty Kelley was in late stages of syphillatic demntia. It was a good column, too.

Some time after the election, yes.

Thanks for the Ping.
That picture on Drudge's site of the home filled with running water from the floods of the storm, not Drudge's home, is it?

Driving a car? What are they going to do, set up checkpoints at the rest areas?
To: Cheapskate
I would think so, but at one time he posted a picture from his hime inside and it looked EXACTLY like that layout as I remember it.
All the flooding is horrible in any case.

I think we will learn just how much these terror alert level raises caught and prevented real threats.
It is a shame they can't promote this. But, to do so would compromise the methods they use.
But, history will show what may have been prevented.

I'm wondering if CBS isn't involved in a
stealth marketing campaign to convince people that Cap'n Dan is still the CBS news man, regardless of what viewers, advertisers,
and affiliates say or act, thereby hoping to ram him down our throats and avoiding discussing his criminal and "professional" transgressions.
"Rather to anchor all three debates".
"Rather to retire in the Spring".

does anyone have a link to where a mp3 can be downloaded of the Kerry flip flop clip that drudge played tonight? It would be much apperciated.

I was on my way to Phoenix once and the Arizona Dept Public Safety had closed a rest area and set up portable scales for truckers. I thought it was pretty funny.
To: Jet Jaguar
You are correct, and the opposition Democrat party are being as bad as they could be in exploiting name calling, fanning the flames and suggesting outright treason by the President.
I think what we have learned about Democrats is they themselves are often guilty of the charges they vocalize of others.

I bet it threw some of them for a loop. But, with the CB's, most everybody would have known.
