When my beloved return from his tour in Korea, he had said he was spoiled on the FOX news channel. Which wasn't carried in Maryland or the following duty station, OK.

However close to the elections 2000 we got a dish and he was able to show me how terrific the network was.

But, frankly when I saw O Reilly and the way he projects rudeness not thinking one bit of either the guest or viewer, well my interest slowly went down.

I am not sure what party he is .. I think he uses it to be flip flopping himself.

Anyway I can leave him.

What I read here is a man selling his philosophical soul to the proverbial "devil".Rush said on te air that for five years certain interests had been after him to "MARKET" his intellectual honesty by slowly changing his views on issues.

He said his faith and belief in the truth of what he believed had been thoroughly tested and retested with such temptation that occasionally he caught himself wondering if his path in life might be mistaken.

At one point on top of a kings ransom package already in the offer they added a one hour nightly or daily TV show at a time of his choosing,or two half hours, whatever.

To the best of my knowledge he never mentioned it again on the air....

When I read this transcript and saw it full of Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton talking points I had to wonder why and why now. I do not know yet!!

Let's examine what this independent "Moderate" espoused as his stand on political issues.You decide and tell me if he sounds "Middle of the road" or in bed with the Libs.

1) Rush Limbaugh is an Political "entertainer" who should be enjoyed but never taken seriously. If that is the situation why even bring up his name... Wallace didn't mention Savage, Bortz or Hannity.

Certain Factions think if they can discredit the "KING" his court will tumble with him,WRONG...The main stream media is so desperate and bitter that their mental faculties have been nummed and has rendered them clueless. They are finished as an American Institution and they can't or won't accept that fact.

2) He believes in "gun control" This issue is key for Left wing socialism to succeed...Where in this country is gun ownership controlled? Right, liberal bastions like New York, Washington DC, Chicago, etc...This from a man who used to preach about the Constitution,Bill of Rights, and the "Rule of Law" that they were the fiber that held our liberties and freedoms together.....

3) Pro gay marriage, gay adoption and against the death penalty and on and on in time to come...

4) We humans are causing "Global Warming" with our pollution.

5) The success or failure of the invasion of Iraq depends if we find WMD. Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism...

6)John Kerry is a Patriot and what the swift boat veterans are doing to him is terrible...
Guess what? O'reilly was in a commercial on FOX just now being critical of NYT for being bias against the swift boat veterans. This is too sickening!

IMHO there is not one "Moderate position" in the whole transcript.
Naaa, makes no sense, this has to be a "quid pro quo" situation but what the quid and the quo consists of, I do not know "YET"!

OReilly's really on 420 radio stations? I listened to him once when he first came on and it was so bad and SO BORING I didn't listen again.

Heck, I thought he was bounced off the air!

O'Really reminds me of Boortz in some respects. Although I can stomach listening to Boortz most of the time.

IMO news readers are not worth all the attention given to them. they are just like silly Hollywood actors they all have quite an inflated view of themselves that makes them appear snobbish. OR is two-faced IMO,he nor any other newsreader deserves my loyalty as a viewer.

Used to like O'Really when I thought the NO SPIN ZONE was real.

Ann Coulter used and abused him and bit off his head and spat it out when she was on the no spin zone... Out'ed him fully as a wolf in sheeps clothing... Wallace out'ed him as one that talks, says NOTHING... like Wallace himself, another poseur.. Laura Ingraham did it too.. O'Really is just a macho Katie Couric who is herself just a feminine Richard Simmons..
