Reuters if for entertainment purposes only these days. Its fun to read the headline then read the story and write a new accurate headline. Headline could easily just have been: "Powell says Stay the course in Iraq and we will overcome anti-Americanism"

Out of what Powell said, to have pulled that headline as the singular salient point takes a malignant partisan inclination.
What about you, jtf? You think that headline represents well what Powell said in total?
When you sign on and post a story of this nature on the same day (as you have), you open yourself up to intense scrutiny.
And then when you fail to make a single response (as you have) to questions about your intentions,you open yourself up to attack.
Now I know you are a "Newbie", and quite possibly don't realize your errors, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
So, I ask you, "What is your honest opinion regarding the efforts by US troops in Iraq, and the 'War on Terror' in general?
And what is your opinion with regards to the wat Reuters has written this article?"
This is a distortion of what Powell actually said.
Care to comment on that?
