Conservative ideas don't fit on bumper stickers. They require a bit of thought and reflection backed up with hard facts. Liberal ideas fit on B.S with large font. Naive and adolescent to the point of being painful but, what the heck,.....they make the owner of the Volvo feel better about themselves.

Yeah I've seen the bumpersticker. What a pile of crap. I wonder what the Chinese's favorite secret smuggler that went down in a ball of flames would think of that? Clinton's forbearance toward terrorism in general and Bin Laden in particular was a significant factor in the 9/11 attacks. It was not Clinton's lying that mattered. It was his lack of action.

Former president Bill Clinton has said and written that his scandals at home limited his options in dealing with Al Qaida. He was afraid the take strong military action because of potential "wag the dog" accusations. He couldn't risk a military operation that incurred US or collateral casualties because it would lower his popularity, the only thing keeping him in office.
In summary: Clinton lied and the scandals that arose from it allowed our enemies to grow stronger and yes, kill us. Clinton lied and innocents died. QED.

I guess lying about being tough on terrorism while not really doing anything about it, thus encouraging our enemies to continue attacking us doesn't count.

Yes, there is Somalia. The bodies of our soldiers were dragged through their streets in celebration.
And there are the Serbs. Clinton is responsible for the deaths of over 3,000 Serbs, mostly women and children. He attacked a people who had done nothing to us and were no threat to us.
