Can you imagine what the people in Florida and other southern states went thru in the Canes of 28 and 35??
I had a fishing buddy for awhile (he's passed away now) that was in Miami for the storm of 26 that ended the land boom and the one in 35. Was also here for Andrew in 92. He had stories about going down to the Keys after the Labor Day storm, with others from Miami, to search for bodies and survivors.
Was the 28 storm the one that killed so many in Palm Beach county with flooding from Okeechobee?
