The Charley prediction was about twice as accurate as average. The area Charley hit received hurricane watches and warnings at the appropriate times. If Charley had gone down the NHC forecast path EXACTLY, the area Charley hit in reality STILL would have experienced hurricane-force winds.

Checking in from the north Cocoa (Brevard) area. Took the plywood down this time last weekend and now about to put it back up. This time it is staying up and I'll just stucco over it. I don't need to see outside anyways :-( LOL.

The big problem with Charley was the evacuees that ran west from the Tampa area to central FL, and then were in the eye of the storm when it changed course. There were a lot of unhappy campers here... literally.
