"So you think that gearing the conservative message toward black America is a waste?"

I think it is worth it. Heard a caller on C-span from Inglewood, Calif. just last night.

He was articulate, that Kerry emboldens our enemy. I'm a Larry Elder listener and fan, too.

The middle class blacks people in America may wish to "conserve" that which they work hard for. That means money-wealth, education, family values, quality neighborhoods, etc.

In those respects, I don't see much (if anything) to be different about.

I think GWB may get 15-25 percent of black votes nationwide. Wouldn't that be something!!

Some may say: "Big deal. From 9 to 15 percent."

I say it is a great start, and this process is a long, steady one.

So you think that gearing the conservative message toward black America is a waste?

Of course that's the theme. That ilk will always think that way.

Screw them!

We are the ones who have to do the real heavy lifting. No need in conversing with those who only seek to stop us or dampen our enthusiasm.

An ad that clearly states we are one America and not the devided segments that the Democrats pander too would work real well.
The Dems have been able to isolate Black Americans so that they feel without a country. They (DNC) and the MSM have also successfully convinced them its the Republicans fault.

I'll be listening for Bush ads.

I doubt it on KKJZ; they're a public station. No ads, generally.

If we expect Americans who are black to vote for Bush, we should expect they will do so with some ambivalence or misgivings - given the 90% vote they usually throw to Democrats. And some of them might take some heat from family members or friends.

I give a lot of credit to Bush/Cheney for running the ad. Not only do they have a good shot at getting more votes from Americans who are black than they did in 2000, their platform clearly has a lot to offer to people in the inner-city or of modest means, black or white.

My only beef with the ad is that it encourages people to vote "for our leaders in Congress", which doesn't differentiate between Republicans and Democrats. It's confusing in that my "leaders" in Congress are all Democrats - why is Bush suggested I support them?

Did you hear the mother, vet on Rush this week....She said she didn't agree with everything Bush stood for but she would be voting for Bush because she knew where he stood on the defense of our country....

For each person who calls in there are usually many more who feel the same way.....

HI!

You can usually count on the democrats doing whatever it is they are accusing the other side of doing....I thinks that why the admenistration said "bring 'em on" to the poll watchers.

By they way there were two more state in the "got caught" column for illegal registrations today. Ohio (near CLeveland) and WI.....Add those to Indiana, Pennsylvania, NYC/Florida and a couple of others....Wish I had compiled those articles...Someone is doing their job!

And that's a fact!

It's about damn time. During Hillary's run, she blanketed the "urban contemporary" airwaves with ads in NYC. Republicans should do the same.

I stand corrected. It is connected with Cal State Long Beach, somehow. Will still listen for the music.

A stupid ad, straight from the boring RNC talking points they're always sending us. It won't make anyone pay attention. Worth absolutely zero votes.

The money would have been better spent on free yard signs for non-battleground states. But then, our real supporters don't matter as much as constituencies who are beyond our reach.

Go figure.

"You must crawl before you walk."

Agreed, also, nothing ventured, nothing gained. It is of utmost importance that pubblies reach out and actually ask Black Americans (and all others) to vote for them. Americans liked to be asked! And the mere presence of an active campaign will help discredit the slanderous lies the dims like to spew to the Black community about the Republican party. It's got to be a lot easier to believe the lies, however fantastic they might be, if one hears nothing from the other side.

It may be true that frenchie does get 95% of the Black vote, but right now it doesn't look very likely.
frenchie will deliver a double whammy to the rats. He will get a smaller percentage of a smaller pool. Blacks are slowly beginning to rethink their slavish connection to the rats. Your pessimism may be the easy position, but this time it's not the right position. In NJ and Ga Bush is doing 20% with Blacks. In Maryland it's 21%. And in Oregon it's 30%. These numbers WILL NOT show up on election day. The ratmedia will try to fool people into believing that the Blacks voted the same way they always do, but they real story will be the Black turnout. They won't jump straight to the GOP. They will sit out a cycle or two, maybe vote 3rd party, but the Black move back to the Republican party will happen.

She also might have added: "Forty years of lies, disinformation, government agencies being stand in fathers & mothers, along with 1000's of broken promises from the Democrats have ruined the Black family and our communities!"
